Tables basses

Je suis à la recherche de la table baisse parfaite. Aujourd'hui, j'ai une petite table blanche en bois que j'ai payée quelques euros dans une brocante en Suède il y a plusieurs années. Je l'adore, elle a les dimensions parfaites, mais elle sera bientôt prête à être recyclée... Il va donc falloir la remplacer, mais la tâche s'annonce difficile! Voici une sélection de tables basses de design scandinave que j'aime beaucoup. Certes, elles ne sont pas toutes compatibles avec mon compte bancaire, mais il faut aussi rêver un peu non? :)
Laquelle est votre préférée?

I'm on the hunt for the perfect coffee table. Right now I have a small white wooden table that cost me a few euros on a flea market in Sweden many years ago. I love it, it has the perfect dimensions, but it will soon be ready for recycling... So I need to replace it, which will not be an easy task! This is a selection of coffee tables of Scandinavian design that I like a lot. Obviously, not all of them are compatible with my bank account, but you have to dream a little too, right? :)

Hay

La marque danoise Hay semble avoir tout bon ce printemps... La première photo résume si bien ce que l'on voit beaucoup en Scandinavie en ce moment: bois, pastel, motifs graphiques, marbre, une petite touche dorée et tout ça sur fond gris. 10 sur 10.

Danish brand Hay seems to get everything right this spring... The first picture sums up pretty well what you see a lot of in Scandinavia right now: wood, pastel, graphic patterns, marble, a little touch of gold and all that on a grey background. 10 out of 10.

Stockholm Design Week bat son plein en ce moment, et comme je ne peux pas y être (snif snif), je suis impatiemment les comptes-rendus des bloggeurs suédois sur place. Cette image prise par Frida/Trendenser sur le stand de Ire a retenue toute mon attention... Non seulement à cause du joli stylisme par Emma Olbers, mais aussi à cause de mon obsession actuelle: le cuivre! Ici j'adore la combinaison cuivre brillant + gris doux. Et j'adore la suspension Kvist de Jonas Bohlin...

Stockholm Design Week is in full swing right now, and since I can't be there (sniff sniff) I'm eagerly following the reports from some of the attending Swedish bloggers. This picture taken by Frida/Trendenser on the stand of Ire caught my attention... Not only because of Emma Olbers' lovely styling, but also because of my current obsession: copper! Here I love the combination of shining copper + soft grey. And I love Jonas Bohlin's pendant Kvist...

Une cuisine dans la véranda

Et si on déplaçait la cuisine à la véranda? C'est ce que cette famille au Danemark a décidé de faire, dans le but de mieux profiter du soleil du soir et d'avoir un accès direct au jardin. C'est plutôt malin, j'aurais fait la même chose. Si j'avais une véranda. Sauf que je n'en ai pas. Pfff...

What if we move the kitchen to the conservatory? That's what this family in Denmark decided to do, in order to enjoy more evening sun and have a direct exit to the garden. Pretty clever, I would have done the same thing. If I had a conservatory. Which I don't. Pfff...
