I've never been much into geography but I guess if I needed to know where a place was, I could follow this emerging trend. How about maps on the wall?
Do you have any maps in your home decor?

I think this is one of my favorite trends right now. Some of us look through the Pottery Barn pages or Restoration Hardware catalog and want those things. I would have to sell my house, kid, and husband to get the things I see in some of those home decor magazines. The next best thing is to re-create those things yourself. The Evolution of Home created this great Pottery Barn canvas. How awesome is this Pottery Barn circles votive by Simply Sarah.
Who hasn't wanted to make one of Pottery Barn's beautiful chandelier's? Well Jenspire did and it's hard to tell it's not the real thing.
Check out this West Elm chandelier made by A Happy Place Called Home.
That's My Letter created a cute Restoration Hardware alphabet art as a child's gift. So cute, I may have to try this one.I love these Ballard Designs numbered tags by The Country Chic Cottage. Guess what they're made of.These ladies have shown you can have the luxury look without the luxury price tag.Let's see what inspired pieces you've done.

The easiest way to update anything is paint. Paint changes the look and if you're unhappy, paint it again. Check out how these ladies used the power of paint to transform their furniture pieces. Meg and Mum's painted this dresser and chair. Love the pop of pink against the black. The fabric is nice too. This table by Fab Rehab Creations would fit so well in my family room.Look at this red beauty by The Frosted Gardner.Petticoat Junktion gave this wardrobe a vintage look. Love the biblical message on this dresser by Kammy's Korner.Creatively Living painted an upholstered chair. Wow. I've passed by so many chairs because I didn't want to re-cover them but never thought to paint them.
Here's another painted chair from Jilly and Mia. So elegant.
