Oh The Weather Outside IS Frightful!

In common with much of the rest of the East Coast, it's snowing here at That Old House.

I went outside in my slippers to check things out from the relative safety of the front porch.

The side yard.

One poor little bush, picture taken over the porch railing.

And an azalea that will someday be flowering. I hope.

Too cold. And slippers, although they can make a nice pattern
of footprints on the porch floor, don't keep your feet warm.

Back inside!

The view from one of the dining room windows. . .

. . . and stone steps. The big hulks to the left of the picture are our cars,
in the driveway, as you look up the hill toward the backyard.

The conservatory ceiling is getting covered with snow. It will be that way for days!

Uh-oh. Our neighbor's wife is out shoveling their driveway.
I better not let Howard see that; it might give him ideas.
