KANDAHAR AIRFIELD, AFGHANISTAN—
The war in Afghanistan reached a tragic milestone Saturday when a blast killed two Canadian medics, one a married woman, raising the death toll for Canadian troops in the protracted conflict to 150.
Master Cpl. Kristal Giesebrecht, 34, of Wallaceburg, Ont., and Pte. Andrew Miller, 21, of Sudbury,
died when an improvised explosive device, or IED,
exploded around 11 a.m Saturday, some 20 kilometres southwest of Kandahar City.
It is time to bring our soldiers home!!

Die Krieg in Afghanistan erreichte einen tragischen Meilenstein.
Am Sonnabend starben zwei kanadische Soldaten (Mediziner) Cpl. Kristal Giesebrecht, 34 Jahre alt, aus Wallaceburg Ontario und Pte. Andreas Müller, 21 Jahre alt, aus Sudbury, Ontario.
Eine selbstgebastelte Sprengstoffbombe oder auch IED, explodierte ca. 11:00 morgens
20 Kilometer südwest von der Stadt Kandahar.
150 Kanadische Soldaten haben nun ihr Leben in diesem Krieg geopfert.
Es ist Zeit, dass unsere Soldaten nach Hause kommen.
