White transom window on White Wednesday and more Summer whites

Hello dear readers and blogging friends welcome back to Boxwood Cottage on a White Wedensday!
I'm linking up with Kathleen of Faded Charm again.
If you look behind the white enamel jug which is filled with white Queen Ann's Lace flowers btw and into the white mirror, you can spot something new, well to be correct something old but new in my cottage, something I wished to have for so long *sigh* I'm incredible happy and excited to show you and share with you my new old white transom window!

It has 15 little windows. I always wished for a cottage with transom windows, well I got no such cottage (just my little row house cottage), but at least thanks to a very good family friend I got one such window and right now I couldn't be any happier about it. I bought everything I needed like hooks and chains etc. to hang the window over my kitchen island/counter and borrowed a drill hammer and then asked my dad to hang it up for me last Saturday which he kindly did. Thanks Dad!!! :)

It fit's there perfectly wouldn't you agree?

And it looks so good from all angles and from the kitchen into the dining and living room area too and my sweet friend Madai's glitter garland looks so good in it too.

Seeing my living room, dining room and kitchen are all in one space (the former owners of the cottage took the walls out and left only the white posts) it makes the room so much more cosy and even brighter as before.

Do you see the white 5 armed candle holder on my round dining table btw? In it's former life it was blue and I had it stored away in my basement since I moved in here. When I searched for something else the other day I came across it and suddenly new it would look so much better painted in my fave creamy white so I did it and now I'm loving it again.

Before we move on to the whites in my garden I like to show you what I made for my Vintage Vacation Swap Partner ( it's a swap hosted by sweet Jenny Heid of Everyday is a Holiday in case you don't know)
I was looking for a light weight vintage suitcase to fill and send overseas and came across this the basket suitcase I had like forever. I decided to paint it white also and embellish it with Millinery, and F for my swap partners inital, a white tassel, a vintage baggage label and a Paris charm that I soldered. I hope my partner will like it. I cant show you what's inside before she has got it, because I don't want to spoil the surprise for her, but it's filled with vintage treasures that I found on our flea market recently. That day I also found the brown vintage cardboard suitcase for my collection and the white embroidered pillow case which says "I lost my heart in Heidelberg".

On to the whites in my garden, well there is the white urn on my garden table under the maple tree

and of course my new favorite, planted last fall, the white hydrangea "Annabelle"

further my Eden rose got new white buds and it's blooming near the off white rose arbor and lastly I like to show you a close up of the gorgeous big bells of the bellflower Campanula medium. I also have it in pink.

So that's it for today and I hope that you'll let me know if you like what I shared with you, I would love to hear from you! Well I'm off now to visit the other participants of White Wednesday No. 58 that you can find here: http://fadedcharmcottage.blogspot.com/

Until next time dear friends!

xoxo~ Carola
