I am generally the first to rise in the morning. I just love early morning light.

There's a wonderful peacefulness to the first few hours of the day. The house is quiet, except for the washing machine with the load of clothes that I have started. I begin to think over 
my plans for the day as I look around. 
Today, my Dearest is off and we have some things to do together. Our neighbor is 
planning a community picnic that I am looking forward to. I have a new routine in the

mornings, as I have shared with you a few days back - we have my son's dog, Grace.

to the house to paint. This dainty looking rose is a very
resilient one - I have found several in the old garden

While she is getting her exercise, I listen to music and look around our garden. I seem to want to change things often. I have a picture in my mind of a different look....

I am so thankful things are coming along with our house painting. It is going to take 
a lot of work, still, but will certainly pay off in the end.
















Labor Day weekend is Family Reunion for my husband's family. This year it went quite

the pond at my father-in-laws place. Still waters always
seem so peaceful

well - everyone had a wonderful time - welcomed my future son-in-law, played a lot of
games, ate wonderful food and had an over all blessed time. I was glad to have all my
children playing games together last night.

It is moments like these that I realize how blessed I am. I have a wonderful family, live in my dream home, have a peaceful country life and each morning realize how much God loves me and blesses me.


















I have been blessed to be able to collect, to decorate, to create things that make our house a home. I do love early mornings - another day is a gift from God full of potential and full of joy.
