The Atlanta Journal Constitution is doing a best weekend getaway survey and I recommend
I had opportunity to stay there twice and I have been spoiled for any other place ever since.
The rooms are each given a name.
These are the two that I have stayed in - I'd love to
have the opportunity to try each room.

This is a beautifully restored, historical home located in downtown Toccoa, Georgia.

The house is beautifully decorated at Christmas - that would be a wonderful time
for a getaway!
Toccoa is a lovely place to visit in the North Georgia Mountains.
I visited one year during the spring when they have their Taste of Toccoa festival and
one year in the summer.
Elizabeth Forkey, the delightsome Innkeeper, is also a talented baker/cake decorator.
She is proprietor of E B Cakes. What a treat it was to sample some of her creations during the
Taste of Toccoa weekend! Out of this world delicious and beautiful!
She is very talented in creating sugar flowers
She has a beautiful website showcasing her creations.
Not only does Elizabeth create beautiful cakes, but she is also a talented gourmet cook!
We were treated each visit to a three course gourmet breakfast.
I am glad I took a couple of pictures at our last visit, before we finished the food!

Some of Elizabeth's recipes can be found in Georgia Bed & Breakfast cookbook.
Toccoa is home to Toccoa Falls and other wonderful sites. It is also close to
Commerce and Tanger Outlet Mall.
Definitely, a great place for a weekend getaway.
