Tips in how to Select Shower

When determining which type of shower will be most suitable for you, some important factors shall take in consideration:
- If both hot and cold water are supplied in equal pressure from the main storage system mixer, then the mixer type would be the best choice. Modern showers are designed to be flexible with different water pressures.
- Chosen shower shall be capable of coping with certain systems to regulate a safe level of water through the boiler.
- It is important to understand the way the hot water is already heated in your house, before choosing a shower.

Multitude showers type are available in the market, such as pumped showers, electric showers, gravity showers, thermostatic, manual and power showers.
Lets take a look to the three most common types of showers:
- Power Showers: It's a mixer shower with integral pump, which work to increase the rate of flow from the shower-head.
This shower type can only installed on low pressure tank fed systems, keep in mind that a dedicated hot and cold water supply is necessary, and this supply must always be above the unit to ensure that the pump is always primed and does not have to suck any air.



- Electric Showers: It's the common type to use within domestic water system. Instantaneous electric shower provide good performance especially if it come with a good heater element rating. This shower pump water from a cold-water storage tank.


- Mixer Showers: Probably the simplest type of shower. This shower mix hot and cold water in a special valve before it is available at the shower-head, so it will supply both hot and cold in equal pressure.
This type can be used with combination boilers and tank fed gravity supplies.
