He Said…
as he passed the picture window in the living room and saw the Margeurite Daisies blooming in the front garden. He remembers them because they have a habit of falling into his grass and he has to careful move them to mow!
And boy does he need to mow! Today is the first sun-shiny day after nearly a week of good rain! Everything looks happy!
The Autumn Joy Sedum is showing its lovely pink self.
The lone zinnia is showing off its late season bloom.
The Impatiens are happier in this cooler weather!
The Bougainvillea seems to be blooming a darker pink since the cooler weather and the shorter daylight hours have settled in.
The old shrub rose –
La Marne –
is filled with buds and blooms –
I love the antique look to these diminutive gems. They will continue to bloom well into November.
The rain and the cooler weather seem to have a second spring affect in my garden.
And I couldn’t be happier!
