How to Save Water and Energy When Washing Clothes

Machine is one of the key elements in our home; however we must take into account that they use a lot of water in addition to the energy use in heat (the water temperature must be at least about 27°C to leave your clothes really clean).
That's why we tell you below how to save water and energy to minimize the amount of resources in each wash:
- Instead of washing twice with a small amount of clothing do it once with a larger load; if you do not have the amount of clothing necessary to do so then wait.
- If you wash a small amount of clothing fits properly the water level.
- Do not overload your washing machine; clothes should move freely to cleaned.
- When you can opt for a cold water rinse, even if you wash the clothes with warm or hot water (cold water is just as efficient for rinsing).
- Never have your dryer in a cold place like a garage or damp basement; it work with less efficiently if you have to do it in cold areas.
- Control your dryer periodically to make sure it closes perfectly.
- Clean the dryer filter after each load for maximum airflow and efficiency.
- Try to do several loads at the same time; in that way you will take advantage of more heat.
