Painting the Swimming Pool

If you are lucky to have a pool at home and is of concrete before painting it, you can do it yourself if you have some time during the holidays, but for this you need to follow some steps, it is not just painting.

Here are instructions for doing so:
1- Firstly you must clean the pool:
- Remove all the water that remained in the pool during the winter.
- After you clean the surface (walls and floor) with a stiff brush and soapy water to remove dirt, debris, dust and mold that may have accumulated.
- Special attention to water level mark and corners and set the points where trampolines, ladders are areas where mold and usually accumulate much dirt.
These parts can be cleaned with a stiff bristle brush and help of a wire brush or polishing, which also removes the old paint.

2- Once cleaned, before painting you must repair the damage have been created in the wall such as chipping, cracking, ... etc.

3- Then you can prepare for painting, the most appropriate paintings are the chlorinated rubber, you should dilute and apply or if you prefer guns with brushes or rollers.

4- One last thing, you should give it a second coat of paint to the pool or even third, especially if it is first time paint.
