My first cabin inspiration post was about a beautiful home in Tennessee by the talented designer Suzanne Kasler.

This next design inspiration is by another very talented designer out of San Francisco, Scot Meacham Wood, of (SMW Design) Scot Meacham Wood Design.  This too gorgeous for words space is Meacham's own home in San Francisco.   While it is not a cabin, its warmth and perfect mixes of Tartan plaids and accessories are an inspiration for the look I want to achieve.

There isn't anything in these rooms that I don't love.  Meacham's meticulous attention to detail is what makes these layered spaces works of art. He is a master at marrying opulence and warmth.

Infusing multiple patterns, textures and colors to create a multi-rich and layered setting is a hard process. I rarely see it done successfully and tastefully, even among well noted designers.  Of course, that's my personal opinion. However, for me, Meacham nails it.

I really love the fabric on these chairs and how beautifully they compliment the rug and large scale artwork.

A beautiful and festive holiday spread. Love the floral arrangement.
