Jonas Ingerstedt

Peu importe le nombre de fois que le photographe suédois Jonas Ingerstedt déménage, ses maisons semblent toujours finir dans les magazines de déco... ce qui ne me dérange pas du tout! J'adore son style et sa superbe collection d'icônes de design danois signées Kjaerholm, Wegner et Mogensen. Son appartement actuel de 59m2 + chambre mezzanine est l'un des 22 appartements qui ont été aménagés dans le bâtiment d'une ancienne école, construite en 1856, dans le centre de Stockholm. Ces photos viennent du portfolio de Jonas, mais figurent aussi dans le dernier numéro d'Elle Interiör suédois, l'un de mes magazines préférés qui vient d'atterrir dans ma boite à lettres.

It doesn't matter how many times Swedish photographer Jonas Ingerstedt moves houses, they all seem to end up in interior magazines... which I don't mind at all! I love his style and his great collection of Danish design icons by Kjaerholm, Wegner and Mogensen. His current flat of 59 sqm + sleeping loft is one of the 22 flats that have been created in an old school building, built in 1856, in the centre of Stockholm. These pictures come from Jonas' portfolio, but can also be seen in the latest issue of Swedish Elle Interiör, one of my favourite magazines that just arrived in my mailbox.

I wish you a great Sunday! Mine will be all white as it has been snowing here in Paris for the first time this winter!

Børge Mogensen

Cette maison à Gentofte au nord de Copenhague a été dessinée et construite par le designer danois Børge Mogensen en 1958. Mogensen faisait parti de cette generation de designers (avec Arne Jacobsen, Hans Wegner et bien d'autres...) qui ont rendu le concept du "design danois" célèbre dans le monde. La maison est remplie de meubles dessinés par Mogensen et le designer y a vecu avec sa femme Alice jusqu'a sa mort en 1972. Le magnifique et fameux canapé 2213 a été dessiné spécialement pour cette maison en 1962, et en face on retrouve les superbes fauteuils "Spanish" de 1959.

This house in Gentofte north of Copenhagen was designed and built by the Danish designer Børge Mogensen in 1958. Mogensen was part of this generation of designers (with Arne Jacobsen, Hans Wegner and some others...) who made the concept of "Danish design" well known throughout the world. The house is filled with Mogensen's own design and he lived here with his wife Alice until his death in 1972. The beautiful and famous sofa 2213 was designed specifically for this house in 1962, and opposite the sofa you can see the lovely "Spanish" chairs from 1959.
