The Big Twenty-One

Hi there loves! It's Megan here from Mackey Madness, just poking my little head over here to say:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MICHAELA!!

Today is her 21st birthday! Hip hip hoorayyyyy!!!!!!

Mich on her very first birthday! Wasn't she a doll?!

Now for the cheesy part: I am seriously SO grateful that 21 years ago today God sent Michaela to Earth. The girl is truly amazing and has the sweetest heart. She is one of the best things that has happened to me from blogging. I would never have imagined that I could make a true best friend over the internet, but wow, this girl is my soul sister and I can't go a day without talking to her. She makes me laugh, I can tell her anything and everything, she's trustworthy, she inspires me...we just "get" each other. 

Regardless of where life takes us and how many miles separate us, Michaela will always be my best friend, my sister, my confidante, and aunt to all my (future) babies! : ) 

Happy happy birthday, Michaela! I love you SO much and I wish I could be there to celebrate!

Now go ahead and leave her some birthday love!

Fashion Friday & Birthday Wishes

Last week when my mama was in town, we went shopping {what we do best!} and she bought me this sweet black dress from Meadow- the boutique I work at in Seattle. It's my birthday dress, which means I'm wearing it for my family party on Sunday, but of course I had to give it a test run (:

I love that it will ease right into winter time, too, with the addition of a long coat, scarf, & an extra pair of leggings.


Now about that birthday coming up next week....

Weekend Loving

Happy weekend, all! This weekend my mom and grandma are here, so we've been doing all the Seattle-y things including lots of shopping! Yesterday we went to the mall down town and hit up Kate Spade New York. Be still my heart. The funny thing was I was more infatuated with their gift box display than anything else...besides her amazing perfume (:
