Festivo

Après avoir vu le bougeoir Festivo partout pendant toute mon enfance en Suède, je pensais vraiment pas que j'allais le trouver joli un jour... Mais on a le droit de changer d'avis non? Créé en 1966 par le designer finlandais Timo Sarpaneva pour Iittala, Festivo est toujours en production aujourd'hui. Et maintenant que je vois toute une collection de Festivo en différentes hauteurs comme sur la photo ci-dessous, et bien, je trouve qu'il a l'air fantastique!

Vous en trouverez dans plusieurs magasins en ligne, celui-là par exemple.

Having seen the Festivo candlestick everywhere during my whole childhood in Sweden, I never thought I would actually like it one day... But who says you can't change your mind? Festivo was designed in 1966 by Finnish designer Timo Sarpaneva for Iittala and is still in production today. And now that I see a whole collection of Festivo in different heights like on the table below, well I think it looks fantastic!

Cuivre

Stockholm Design Week bat son plein en ce moment, et comme je ne peux pas y être (snif snif), je suis impatiemment les comptes-rendus des bloggeurs suédois sur place. Cette image prise par Frida/Trendenser sur le stand de Ire a retenue toute mon attention... Non seulement à cause du joli stylisme par Emma Olbers, mais aussi à cause de mon obsession actuelle: le cuivre! Ici j'adore la combinaison cuivre brillant + gris doux. Et j'adore la suspension Kvist de Jonas Bohlin...

Stockholm Design Week is in full swing right now, and since I can't be there (sniff sniff) I'm eagerly following the reports from some of the attending Swedish bloggers. This picture taken by Frida/Trendenser on the stand of Ire caught my attention... Not only because of Emma Olbers' lovely styling, but also because of my current obsession: copper! Here I love the combination of shining copper + soft grey. And I love Jonas Bohlin's pendant Kvist...

Un peu d'inspiration...

J'espère que vous avez tous passé un bon Noël! Moi j'ai eu la chance de vivre un Noël sous la neige, ce qui n'était pas le cas partout en Suède cette année. Maintenant je profite de quelques jours bien reposantes avant de retourner en France... Voici un mix d'inspiration qui sera aussi le dernier de cette année!

God Jul!

Je vous souhaite à toutes et à tous un Joyeux Noël! J'espère que vous allez profiter de ces jours pour passer du bon temps avec vos proches, en tout cas, c'est ce que je vais faire... Merci pour vos visites et gentils voeux sur les derniers billets! Je vous reverrai ici dans quelques jours, en attendant, quelques photos de la maison de mes parents où nous fêtons Noël cette année.

Une norvégienne à Paris

A deux jours de Noël, voilà une maison qui n'a rien à voir avec Noël justement... Cet appartement à la déco bien scandinave se trouve pourtant à Paris et appartient à Signe Nordli Becker, une designer norvégienne. J'aime beaucoup la palette en blanc, bois et vert, un peu comme dans ces images que j'avais montré avant.

With Christmas being only two days away, here's a home that has got nothing Christmas like about it... This Scandinavian looking flat is actually situated in Paris and belongs to Signe Nordli Becker, a Norwegian designer. Love the white, wood and green colour scheme, a bit like in these pictures that I showed before.

Sainte Lucie

Notre maison à 7h ce matin: des bougies allumées partout, des brioches au safran (faites maison) et des petits gâteaux à la cannelle (faites IKEA) sur la table, des guirlandes argentées dans les cheveux, et la musique traditionnelle sur Spotify... Parce qu'aujourd'hui, nous fêtons la Sainte Lucie! Pour ceux qui ne connaissent pas cette étrange coutume, voilà à quoi ca peut ressembler version grandiose, personnellement je préfère la version mignonne. Et pour tout savoir sur la Sainte Lucie, c'est par ici.

Autre bonne nouvelle du jour: La Maison d'Anna G. compte maintenant plus de 1000 fans sur facebook! Sans vous ce blog n'aurait aucun intérêt... alors MERCI!

Our home at 7am this morning: candles lit everywhere, saffron buns (homemade) and cinnamon cookies (IKEA made) on the table, silver garlands in our hair, and traditional music on Spotify... Because today we are celebrating Santa Lucia! For those of you who don't know this strange tradition, this is what the grandiose version could look like, personnally I prefer the cute version. Other good news today: La Maison d'Anna G. now has more than 1000 followers on facebook! Without you this blog would not be worthwhile... so THANK YOU!
