Paris flash back

Posted by MAKMU ta On Saturday, January 21, 2012

I have been dreaming of going back to France for a few weeks now.  I wish I was able to go for the Maison & Objet show, my dream really.  Maybe for the Fall show...  but I have been looking through my pictures and realized that there is a lot that I did not share with you.  These are just a few pictures that I took inside the Louvre, I was a little giddy in there (my shoes were killing my feet and I think I may have lost it for a little while).  I took photos of things that made me smile as you can see!
Wishing you a wonderful weekend filled with things that make you smile!

Connected

I have a longing interest for all things past. History, ranging from literature to art and architecture, fromgrand homes to cottages, from antiques and vintage items to private treasures. The list is endless.I am drawn to old china, transfer ware, blue and white Meissen or Delft, old silver, cutlery, dishes, old photographs and letters, books of course and many pieces, which do not always fit

Savannah

On Chatham SquareI fell in love with the city the first time I wandered the squares and tree lined streets a few years back. On our way to Florida it had been on our must-see list. At that time we only had two nights and the children were much younger. There was just time for a trolley tour and a few short walks among the small park like squares in the historic downtown. We had to part
