I am so missing Paris right now.. I love to visit in the spring! I have had many emails as of late asking to share my favorite places in Paris and France so I thought that I would put together a post this coming week with all of the things that make Paris my favorite city.
I would love to have you share your favorites too! I am sure those who are traveling this coming year would like a glimpse into what makes the city so special to so many people.

My husband is in Paris today with out me... very sad I know.. I have sent him to my favorite places to eat, sleep and shop in hopes that he will have a nice time and bring me home something extra sweet. I am super jealous and wish I was there with him!
What are your plans for the weekend? Jetting off to a beautiful foreign city? Any plans for St. Patrick's day?

Even with a lot of wear and tear this Parisian apartment makes my heart skip a beat. How do they do it? It is so perfectly imperfect. The floors are amazing along with all of the moulding details. I am not sure how much I would want to change if I lived there. What about you - would you feel the need to fix this beauty up or keep it just so?

My Sweet new friend Jeni has opened up the possibility of visiting Paris to me in the Spring. Time full of shopping and adventuring around the city that I love so much! I am so excited by the possibilities!

I have been dreaming of going back to
France for a few weeks now. I wish I was able to go for the
Maison & Objet show, my dream really. Maybe for the Fall show... but I have been looking through my pictures and realized that there is a lot that I did not share with you. These are just a few pictures that I took inside the Louvre, I was a little giddy in there (my shoes were killing my feet and I think I may have lost it for a little while). I took photos of things that made me smile as you can see!

I had almost forgotten about these pictures until tonight. I am helping a new friend with a cafe that they are opening locally and searching for ideas when I remembered I had taken all of these photos on our trip last Spring. This was an amazing little restaurant just steps from
Merci. The owner or manager (I am not sure which he was because he spoke very little English) said that it was designed by someone from New York and that many pieces were brought in, which was funny because I loved it for it's quirky industrial appeal and I am thinking how great the French are at being stylish without even trying, but they were trying. Anyway, I thought I would share my pictures of it with you and recommend it too if you are going to Paris anytime soon.. Visit Merci and rest your shopping feet with a glass of wine and an appetizer or pizza.. super yummy!
oh and don't forget to take a peek at their bathroom - it was super cool too!

I cannot thank you all enough for a wonderful year here on the blog. There are so many of you that have reached out to me via email and through the blog and I appriciate it all very very much! I am looking foward to another wonderful year with high hopes and big dreams as always.
I hope you can join me as more adventure awaits- I am hoping to travel more this year and share my work with you more also.

I am day dreaming of a sweet little apartment in the heart of Paris just like this one. Instead of being here enjoying baguettes, cheese and wine, we are taking pictures for our upcoming One Kings Lane sale today. It is amazing how much work goes into a sale. Everyone at OKL is really great and a real joy to work with which is so nice to see in a growing company like theirs.
Wishing you a wonderful day filled with dreams like this little beauty.. I suppose we have to work hard to get to a place like this one, right?
