Count me in on the Terrarium craze

I love all the interest out there on terrarium's. I love them so much, I decided to try one myself. Full disclosure, I have not made a terrarium since Girl Scouts! I won't say how long ago that was, but it was around the time the Partridge Family was on television. Here is my failed attempt

I know I did something wrong, but I'm not sure what it was. So, I went to the library and borrowed this

While I'm working on that project, Lynzariums blog is what started my obsession. Here are some of my favorites

A "Belgian" rustic cottage with modern elegance

I'm not sure what "Belgian Rustic" means, but whatever it is I like it!
The dark wood timbers mixed with lighter neutrals is a palette I've always liked, and the nod to nature and a rustic "tied-to-the-earth" aesthetic is relaxing and homey.
