The anguish of losing a home to the ravages of Hurricane Katrina was replaced by the joy of winning the 2010 HGTV Dream Home.
Myra Lewis, whose name was drawn from more than 40 million entries, won the $2-million-plus grand prize in this year's HGTV Dream Home Giveaway, including a contemporary Southwest-style home in Sandia Park, N.M., an all-new GMC® Terrain and $500,000.
According to the Official HGTV Dream Home Blog, Myra Lewis has entered the Dream Home Sweepstakes for several years. This year, she and her sister worked together as a team, each of them submitting one entry everyday.
