A splendid surprise...

Imagine my surprise when last weekend I realised that the gardens of our local estate, Corsham Court, extend far deeper into the greenery behind the majestic building than I had understood when visiting in the past...

The giant poppy above could easily be mistaken for a fake silk flower, and never have I seen poppy petals this shade of pink. So beautiful... The old bath house hidden in the midst of the trees - another stylish surprise.
