Impatient and itching...
... itching...
to find blogging time,
to finish recovering my grandmother's old chair,
to go for walks with my boys and search the ground
under all the chestnut trees in the area for more wreath material,
to let all the hundreds and hundreds of ideas bubbling away
in my head take shape also in my hands,
to stop to smell the clear autumn air...
... a bit more...
Impatient, I show you the chair, recovered with one of H&M's lovely linen cushion covers, where the scars of the staple gun's brutal performance is still an uncovered eye-sore...
A few tactile conkers bound together hastily into a wreath...
All placed temporarily in the dining room, just to judge its "bloggability", then quickly deemed half acceptable and therefore speedily photographed, awaiting a more permanent position elsewhere... that is, when that 'elsewhere' is arranged in such a way that it can accommodate freshly recovered old chairs...
Time...
Time is not on my side at the moment, and I am itching.
Impatiently.
I cannot thank you enough for all your kind comments on past blog entries - they really, really, mean a lot to me, every single one. Welcome also to all you new readers out there - thank you for stopping by!
To those of you curious about the bottom right photo in my last entry:
they are borlotti beans, here photographed with a largish zinc egg.
