I am not that much of a cleaner - I like to think that our house is clean but I find absolutely no joy in cleaning our house. Two things I am a little compulsive about, though, are properly folded towels in the bathroom and that all the beds are made every morning. The towels thing is difficult because The Husband and I have a different opinion about what a properly folded towel is but this post is not about that.
This post is about making beds. About a year ago, I was making the beds in The Girls' room when The Oldest decided that she wanted to try to make her own bed. She did a pretty good job so, much to her disappointment, this became her first chore and she is not responsible for making her bed every morning. She was doing great for a while but over the past few months she has become a bit of a sleep-thrasher and her covers are everywhere in the morning. So, she still makes her own bed but it looks a little more like this now:
The pictures on the right are of The Youngest's bed and are to be used as a reference:)
Still, I think she does a pretty good job!
