It's been a tough week for me. I have several projects in the works here, but came down with strep throat on Tuesday. I haven't felt that bad in a long time. I am on the mend and hopefully can get busy on the way too many few projects I have started.
In the meantime, I wanted to showcase a perfectly styled bookcase. It belongs to my lovely and talented sister-in-law. She also happens to be an interior designer, hence the perfect style.
I think styling a bookcase can be a bit daunting, especially a huge built-in like this one. Not for her. This kind of thing comes to her so naturally.
Marti, my sister-in-law, has impeccable taste and is extremely creative. She has paired some of her great books with meaningful photographs and a few special accessories.

I love the way she split the books between the two different sides of the bookcase.

I also really like the way she added some natural elements to the space, like the plant and the roses.

Believe it or not, these pictures were taken just a few weeks after they moved into their new house. She is on the ball!
