I am quite sure that the main idea behind the nook, a coffee table designed by David Pickett, is a quality time with oneself or close friend (s). It’s not as simple as a drinking place where thirst are quenched. Much more than that, this ‘nook’ facilitate deep, close connection when shared with others or some silence moment with his or herself simply to enjoy and cherish the moment. The table design it self is comfortable, laid back, relaxed, and easy. These quality are further achieved by letting the natural color of the material shines through; the color of plain wood along with the grain, it’s neat and tidy,perfect for a moment of good thought.
