Bird Flower Frog

Vase

Just before meeting my children for lunch, I happened upon an Estate Sale. I found a few treasures, this one I was eager to share tonight. 

I wasn't sure what it was, or whether these two pieces belonged together. The gentleman told me that the birds on the branch were a flower frog. I adore flower frogs and this is the sweetest I have ever seen. They sit in the middle of the low vase, like a bird bath. 

I filled the holes with the small red roses that grow at the front of our house. I love the contrast of the red and the white.
