Moss Rose
Portucula Grandiflora
Bright, little, delicate flowers dance above fleshy leaves in my hot and dry garden.
A low growing groundcover, the Moss Rose is a delight to gardeners by bringing a rainbow of delicately petaled flowers to pots and corners in one's garden.
I found these in the clearance aisle at Lowes earlier this Summer and have been so very happy with them!
They love the sun, well-drained soil and will flourish with little to no attention.
Moss Rose can be planted in cracks between walking stones and patio bricks.
These sweet little flowers for Summer remind me
of the faithfulness and cheerfulness Pansies bring
to my garden in the Fall, Winter and Spring.
If you need a flower to fill in corners in your garden - in hot and dry conditions,
Moss Rose may be your newest friend.
