Seeking Inspiration and Relaxation

This has been a very busy, full week. I am pleased with the things I’ve accomplished and wished for more time to finish others tasks I’d hoped to complete. There’s always tomorrow.
Today, I am enjoying a few moments outdoors – enjoying a light tea lunch and some inspiration from some of my favorite magazines.

My Victoria magazine arrived yesterday – it is filled with tributes to the young Royal couple –

so many of you have and are still celebrating their wedding. I wish them well. The pages were filled with beautiful places,

warm comforting rooms and tempting recipes.
There’s a list of must-read

books and a new tea book coming out in October!

Next on my reading list for today is my new Country Living. I celebrate
Victoria magazine weekly – but I am not a one note gal. I have enjoyed
Country Living for years. I still have several back issues that I revisit from time to time.

In a very different way, Country Living fills my heart and mind with great ideas and inspirations. One of the things I like about Country Living is their very diverse outreach to support all things home and garden.

The Country Living Fair coming up this Fall looks to be a wonderful event. Even my dog, Roxie approves of some of the items displayed at last year's fair.

I look up as I finish my lunch, the clouds overhead I believe are a r
esult of the outer bands of the Hurricane passing northward in the Atlantic Ocean.

I think of so many of you that I know are in proximity of its path. I pray you seek safety and that minimal damage will result. Things can be replaced –
you are valuable. Do all you can to take care of yourselves.

I look to my left and a yellow butterfly is seeking nourishment from my stalwart petunias. So glad to see butterflies revisiting my garden. The bees have been busy as well.

I am so happy with my choice of this Bougainvillea. I was seeking a softer shade of pink and am pleased with the varying shades it produces.

The Crape Myrtle have been blooming throughout summer – despite the heat and the drought – they provide wonderful backdrop in the garden. I should fill my garden with these very giving bushes.

On time the Hurricane Lilies are making their appearance. They are spectacular when in full bloom.

Well, refreshed now – maybe I can tackle one of those tasks on my list.
I hope you’re having a wonderful day,
I will be sharing this post with

And

Wishing you a very Delightsome day,
