My heart is just tripping over with joy and laughter.
So pleased with myself, I held up the two pumpkins I had just made and shared with you all.
First to my daughter.

Aren’t Pumpkins supposed to be orange?
It’s decorative – I replied.
Then on to my husband –
What is it…I could tell where this is going to go….
Then on to my son…
My daughter tried to give him hints.
Think of Cinderella…think of what she rode in to the ball.
I give her a look – don’t give him hints!
A Pumpkin? He replies.
I thought they were orange.
Sigh.
