I think that Insta-Friday may be becoming one of my favorite blog posts. Mainly because it is a great opportunity to share with you pictures of my family and of all of our family-fun-times.
These pictures are actually from two weeks ago when we decided to take advantage of a beautiful Autumn day, pack a picnic and head over to a park. Even after living in the area for over ten years, we still have not explored all of this park so we decided to get a little adventurous and try a different entrance.
What did we find???? A water fall!!

Across the road from the waterfall was a small playground with picnic tables so we decided to have lunch there.

And then it was off to explore the dam.

Now, before I leave you for the weekend - I want you all to know just how difficult a paddle boat is. I am not in the best of shape and I may be 20 weeks pregnant but even so, a paddle-boat is quite a work out. Especially when you have a four year old and a six year old that want to help. The only thing that made me feel even the tiniest bit better was that when we were out on the lake there were a few other families that were just floating around. I am going to say that they were just enjoying the view but really I think those parents were just as tired at The Husband and I were:)
