And Mirrors

I was sitting in my cozy little chair  in my bedroom while  writing and reading some lovely posts and I gazed over at my vanity mirror. I liked the reflection that was shown.

Then I looked over at the dresser mirror
and saw the beautiful painting reflected – loved that too.

And again  my gaze drifted over to the mirrorbuilt into the old door – and I saw our bed reflected. These all made me smile.

Then I thought what a wonderful thing mirrors are. They are not only useful to us but add depth and beauty to any room.
I wandered through the house to see what the other mirrors reflected.

In the upstairs hall is this gilded mirror that reflects the furniture
and the gallery of sketches.
In the hall bath is this oval mirror that fortunately was there when we moved in.
I love it's shape and patina.

Also, in the hall bathroom is a set of three Harem Mirrors.

Each of these mirrors can be hung with the mirror showing or the beautifully
decorative back showing.

Off the blue room is a tiny bathroom with an old dresser mirror that we hung
several years back.

Downstairs there's a small mirror that hangs above the fireplace reflecting the
opposite wall.

And in the dining room is a mirror that was created from a frame I purchased for $10
the glass was broken - and we had an old bathroom mirror cut to fit.

Reflecting on reflections. They show us the things we love and tell us the truth.

I am linking this post with

perhaps take a break with a lovely cup of tea!

Wishing you a very Delightsome day,
