Merry Christmas

Christmas Tea Poem
On Christmas Day, at half past three,
brew yourself a cup of tea.
I'll think of you and you'll think of me,
While sitting around your Christmas Tree

I made Café Beaujolais yesterday for

a Sunday brunch before church.

My husband and daughter

heartily approved.

The tea is set on a vintage tablecloth that is laid

prepared for our Christmas party.

Our dining room Christmas tree is decked in

gold and white this year.

Our tea is set with my Homer Laughlin

Cavalier Eggshell china.

I made this cake stand from a plate

and a dessert cup

You are welcome to stroll through

our home decorated for Christmas.

The Son of God became a man to
enable men to

become the sons of God.

-C.S.Lewis

‘For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given:

and the government shall be upon His shoulder:

and His Name shall be called Wonderful,

Counsellor, The Mighty God,

The Everlasting Father, The Prince Of Peace.

Of the increase of His government and peace

there shall be no end, upon the throne of David,

and upon his Kingdom, to order it, and to establish
i
t with Judgment and with Justice from henceforth

even for ever. The zeal of the LORD

of hosts will perform this’

"For unto you is born this day in the city of

David a Saviour, which is Christ the LORD"

Love came down at Christmas,
Love all lovely,

Love divine;
Love was born at Christmas;

Star and angels gave the sign.

-Christina Rossetti

"Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit

that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come

in the flesh is of God"

Where there is faith, there is love;

Where there is love, there is peace;

Where there is peace, there is God;

And where there is God; there is no need.

-Leo Tolstoy

Perhaps that is the true gift of a teatime celebration:

It fills our cups with joy and warmth and friendship.

May the echo of the teacup’s message be heard not

only at Christmas, not only on special occasions,

but anytime friends come together.

Emelie Barnes

Joy to the world, the Savior reigns,

Let men their songs employ,

While fields and floods, rocks, hills and plains

Repeat the sounding joy

O Come all ye faithful,

Joyful and triumphant

O come ye, o come ye to Bethlehem

Come and behold Him, born the

King of angels

"Christmas is a gift of love wrapped in

human flesh and tied securely with

the strong promises of God.
It is more than words can tell,

for it is a matter for the heart

to receive, believe and understand."

[Unknown]

Who can add to Christmas? The perfect motive

is that God so loved the world. The perfect gift is

that He gave His only Son. The only requirement

is to believe in Him. The reward of faith is that

you shall have everlasting life.

~Corrie Ten Boom
