Distracted

March Winds

Arehowling outdoors today, I have a lot of gardening to do, but as the winds howlthey bring a gripping chill to the air.

Stormshave been thundering through our corner of the south bringing

Heavyrains – causing everything to grow – most especially the weeds.

So, whilethe storms raged and now the winds howl I have been clearing and de-clutteringspare rooms and closets. I have created stacks for donation, stacks for storageand piled things that go somewhere else!

Cleaningcan sometimes be such a messy ordeal!

I havebeen nesting.

I findmyself distracted in these moments – thinking and planning for the soon to comespring planting, spring chores indoors: curtains to make, slipcovers to make –I have been putting off those tasks simply because the concepts are in myimagination and I just have to take the plunge. I have viewed Miss Mustard Seed’s step-by-step videos on making slipcovers and she makes it look soooeasy.

this one looks like what I hope to accomplish!

In justtwo weeks it will be officially Spring here! So very excited – with that comesthe change-over in décor from Winter Whites to Spring colors.

I havesome ideas of what I would like to do to the hutch, shelves and walls in thekitchen.

I am alsolooking into clearing and decluttering my blog. I find the social media sites Ihave on the sidebar to be a little cluttered – and to some extent redundant –so I am working on fixing that. I’ll share more soon – I hope!

As I flitfrom one thing to another I how do you proceed with your spring chores? I amhoping to have everything sparkling, neat and in its place.
