This doesn't have much to do with The House but, yesterday was the first day I had to pack a school lunch for one of The Girls. The oldest has started a kindergarten enrichment class and now eats her lunch at school.
This is a pretty big deal to me - if she is not with a relative then she is at home eating lunch with me.
She was so proud of herself though and refused to put her lunchbox in her backpack. She looked like such a big girl getting onto the bus-lunchbox in hand.
Just before walking out the door I heard The Husband say "I'm surprised your mom didn't put a banana in there or something." Reminding me that I totally forgot to put her apple in there. So, even though I had already snapped the picture - she did go to school with a fruit.
