Pink Rose Tea

A Garden Respite

I had a very good day today. 

I had lunch with a friend, walked through a couple

antique stores and a Goodwill. 

I found this lovely teacup and I knew it would be perfect for

an afternoon's respite.

The weather has finally cooled a bit and it is most enjoyable

to sit out and to hear the birds and see the lovely garden.

I stopped by the grocery store and was delighted to find

these little roses in shades of cream and pink. 

A girl can treat herself to a few roses now and then.

I chose my Chintz flower basket to place them in.

I love its color and shape.

I also picked up these sweet petit-fours at the bakery.

My new teacup, a bouquet of pink roses,

a light sweet treat. 

Now I am ready to close the day with a lovely

Pink Rose Garden Tea respite.
